Classes Cancelled

All classes are cancelled beginning at 3:00 pm today. Normal schedule will resume on Saturday.  

SecondStart Classes are Still Available at LSC-North Harris, Greenspoint and Carver Centers

It’s not too late to register for SecondStart classes at Lone Star College-North Harris, Greenspoint and Carver Centers. Space is still available in a number of classes scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 25 and running through the end of the semester on Dec. 19.

SecondStart classes are offered days, evenings, or weekends at LSC-North Harris, LSC-Carver Center in Acres Homes and LSC-Greenspoint Center in Greenspoint, as well as in online and hybrid formats.

Record enrollments at LSC-North Harris have resulted in an incredibly high-demand for many classes. A complete listing of the fall 2010 classes still available can be found at LoneStar.edu/class-search.

For those interested in classes that are no longer available, registration for the spring semester begins Nov. 8 and registering early is the only way to ensure the best selection of classes and times.

Current and recently enrolled students can register online at LoneStar.edu/registration. New students can apply for admission online, or at the LSC-North Harris campus or centers. For more information call 281.618.5410.

Lone Star-North Harris courses are designed to fit a diverse spectrum of academic goals, and can lead to certificates, associate degrees or university transfer. Credit classes range from art, biology, and automotive technology to cosmetology, nursing and criminal justice.
