All classes are cancelled beginning at 3:00 pm today. Normal schedule will resume on Saturday.  

Registration for Spring 2011 Classes at LSC-North Harris Now Underway

Now is the time to start planning for spring 2011 classes at Lone Star College-North Harris, Greenspoint or Carver Centers.  Registration for the fast-approaching spring semester began Nov. 8. Credit classes will begin Jan. 18. 

Planning now and registering early ensures the best selection of classes and times. Record enrollments at LSC-North Harris have resulted in an incredibly high-demand for many classes. The fall semester had a record-setting 16,000 students taking classes at the main campus and its centers.

In conjunction with the Nov. 8 start of registration, the college is also rolling out new student services process. Registration or payments by telephone will no longer be available. A web page addressing all of the changes, and providing additional information has been set up at LoneStar.edu/BeReady-NH

Current and recently enrolled students can still register online at LoneStar.edu/registration or at any Lone Star College location. New students can apply for admission online, or in-person. For more information, call 281.618.5410

Lone Star-North Harris courses are designed to fit a diverse spectrum of academic goals, and can lead to certificates, associate degrees or university transfer. Credit classes range from art, biology, and automotive technology to cosmetology, nursing and criminal justice.
