Your Maverick Connection: New Student Orientations

Learn all you need to know about becoming a Lone Star College-Montgomery Maverick during one of the upcoming new student orientation sessions, dubbed “Maverick Connection,” held this summer on June 1, 15, 22, and 29. Both a morning and afternoon session are available each day.

Designed to prepare students for academic, social and personal success, the orientation will help new, first-time-in-college students learn their way around campus, discover the academic programs and campus resources available, and meet other new and current LSC-Montgomery students. Attendees will also be able to meet with an academic advisor, get their individual questions answered, and register for the upcoming semester.

Each Maverick Connection takes place in the Recital Hall (Building H). The morning sessions begin at 9 a.m., with check-in starting at 8:30 a.m.; and the afternoon sessions begin at 5 p.m., with check-in starting at 4:30 p.m.

All students should pre-register at www.LoneStar.edu/Montgomery-orientation. A confirmation of registration will be sent within two business days.
