Lone Star College-Victory Center to Hold Information Session for Construction Trades, HVAC, Welding Programs

Lone Star College-Victory Center will hold information sessions about three of its Career and Technical Education programs – construction trades, HVAC and welding – on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. at LSC-Victory Center in room 113, located at 4141 Victory Drive in Houston.

Attendees can learn about the construction trades, HVAC and welding programs, which are Career and Technical Education programs designed to help students quickly earn a workforce certification and enter their chosen field of work.

In addition, attendees will also learn when these programs’ spring 2012 semester classes will be offered, have an opportunity to register for classes, and get more information about tuition assistance.

Students who qualify for tuition assistance in these three programs through the Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG) can receive up to 50 percent of their tuition, up to $500 per semester.
