Lone Star Corporate College presents Human Resources Exam Prep seminar

HOUSTON (Sept. 17, 2012) Lone Star Corporate College will present the Human Resources Exam Preparation professional development seminar as part of the Lone Star Corporate College Seminar Series.

The seminar will be held from Tuesday, Oct. 2 to Tuesday, Dec. 11. Presented by Lone Star Corporate College and the University of Phoenix, this seminar is taught in a hybrid format, which means it is mainly online with some classroom instruction at the Lone Star College-University Park campus, located at 20515 State Highway 249 at Louetta Road in Houston.

The seminar meets for five hours a day for the 10-week duration.

Designed for professionals who have at least two years’ experience in human resources and are looking to develop their skills for more advanced positions, seminar attendees will be prepared to take the nationally-recognized Professional in Human Resources and Senior Professional in Human Resources certification exams upon seminar completion.

Course topics include business management and strategy, workforce planning and employment, human resource development, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, and risk management.
