HOUSTON (Nov. 14, 2012) – Lone Star College System is hosting a free Community and Careers Job Fair Wednesday, Nov.28, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Lone Star College-University Park campus at 20515 State Highway 249 at Louetta Road in Houston.

The event will be held in the West Commons area of the campus in the Building 11.
Employers will be recruiting for positions like accountants, facilities managers, logistics managers, professional office staff, and computer and network technicians.
Those attending the job fair should:
• Dress professionally.
• Have 20-30 resumes to hand to employers. Free resume critiques will also be given.
“Career fairs put those seeking employment in front of potential employers, and if job-seekers make a good impression, their unemployment days could be over,” said Brian Dooley, senior program manager, career transition and transfer for LSCS. “It is my hope that we will be able to connect those who otherwise might not have applied for these jobs together with the hiring managers and in the process, strengthen and diversify our workforce.”
The job fair is free and open to the public. For more information, or to showcase your company at the job fair, contact LSCS Career Services at 281.291.5050 or LSCSCareerServices@lonestar.edu.
