Maverick Connection: New Student Orientation Sessions Scheduled in December

Learn more about Lone Star College-Montgomery or Lone Star College-Conroe Center during Maverick Connection, a new student orientation program mandatory for all first-time-in-college students.

Maverick Connection eases the transition into college and prepares students for academic, social and personal success. Students tour the campus, meet other students, faculty, and staff, and learn about the academic programs offered. They are also introduced to the various campus resources available and can meet with counselors and advisors who will assist them with the registration process.

At LSC-Montgomery, orientation sessions are offered on Wednesday, December 5, at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and on Wednesday, December 12, at 5 p.m. All sessions take place in the Recital Hall (Building H, Room 102), and check-in starts one hour before each session.

At LSC-Conroe Center, orientation sessions are offered Thursday, December 6, at 3 p.m., and Thursday, December 13, at 9 a.m. or 3 p.m., in Room 105. Check-in starts one hour before each session.

Students must pre-register online for Maverick Connection at www.LoneStar.edu/Montgomery-Orientation. A registration confirmation will be emailed within two business days. Walk-ins will only be accepted if the session is not full. Walk-ins should bring a copy of their placement test scores and/or unofficial transcripts to the session.
