HOUSTON (Nov. 28, 2012) – Lone Star College System is hosting a free technical career and skilled trade job fair Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lone Star College-North Harris campus at 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive in Houston.

Employers will be recruiting for positions like engineering technicians, manufacturing technicians, CNC technicians, machinists, facilities managers and welding and inspection technicians.
Those attending the job fair should:
• Dress professionally.
• Have 20-30 resumes to hand to employers.
“Lone Star College wants to open doors for highly-skilled workers looking for permanent positions,” said Brian Dooley, senior program manager, career transition and transfer for LSCS. “It is my hope that we will be able to connect those who otherwise might not have applied for these jobs together with the hiring managers and in the process, strengthen and diversify our workforce.”
