Kick-off spring registration with VIP Registration Week at LSC-North Harris and its centers

It is time to roll out the red carpet and enjoy the star treatment! Lone Star College-North Harris is hosting VIP Registration week Nov.17 through Nov. 21 in the Student Services Building, located at 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive in Houston. VIP Registration activities will also be taking place at LSC-Greenspoint Center and LSC-Victory Center.

Beat the rush for registration and enjoy VIP service. The registration period for spring 2015 is shorter than past years, so it’s important to get a jump start on planning your schedule. Many classes are in high demand and fill quickly, so early registration ensures the best selection of classes and times.

VIP Registration will be open Monday, Nov. 17 through Thursday, Nov. 20 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, Nov. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Current and prospective students can take advantage of personal service, snacks and prize drawings throughout the week. A $300 scholarship will also be awarded to one student registering during the week.

Registration for the Lone Star College-North Harris winter mini-mester and spring 2015 classes will open Monday, Nov. 17. Please remember to register early because registration for spring classes closes Jan. 10. Spring 2015 classes will begin Monday, Jan. 12.

The winter mini-mesters offer a great opportunity for those looking to get ahead with their degree or certificate. Three-week mini-mester courses are available from Dec.15 through Jan. 4, and four-week mini-mester courses will run Dec.15 through Jan. 11.

LSC-North Harris courses are designed to fit a diverse spectrum of academic goals, and can lead to certificates, associate degrees or university transfer. Credit classes range from art, biology, and automotive technology to cosmetology, nursing and criminal justice. Classes are offered days, evenings, or weekends at LSC-North Harris, LSC-Greenspoint Center, and LSC-Victory Center, as well as in online and hybrid formats.
