Lone Star College-University Park students who don’t want to take a break during the winter break can register now for Winter Mini-mester courses, which begin Dec. 14.

Mini-mester classes run on three- and four-week schedules, wrapping up before Spring semester classes begin.

More than 20 face-to-face and online offerings include Art Appreciation, Macro-economics, several English, math and social studies courses, a Prehistory to Gothic humanities course, Physical Fitness, Psychology, Sociology, Introduction to Communication and Public Speaking.
