New classes will debut this fall at LSC-University Park

Professors and departments are responding to changes in disciplines and student interests this fall with new classes.

"I want to commend our academic leadership team for thoughtfully considering our student needs," said LSC President Shah Ardalan. "Careful additions to our class offerings reflect our focus on students and our passion for innovation."

Beginning this fall, LSC-University Park will offer Intermediate Spanish for Law Enforcement (CJLE 1259). The course is designed to develop students' Spanish speaking and listening skills and to help future officers form a better understanding of the Hispanic population in Texas. LSC-University Park will also offer Traffic Law & Investigation (CJLE 1333) for the first time.

Students can develop skills in the creative realm with new classes in the art department. Art classes debuting this fall are Class Voice 1 (MUSI 1183), Class Piano IV (MUSI 2182), Private Applied Music - Keyboard (MUAP 1269), Private Applied Music - Voice (MUAP 1281) and Voice for the Theatre (DRAM 2336).
