Enjoy “A Walk in the Forest” in LSC-CyFair’s Art Gallery

Take “A Walk in the Forest” with internationally showcased artist Randall Mosman this spring at Lone Star College-CyFair’s Bosque Gallery.

This exhibition features the creative work of Houston-based artist Mosman, who is also an LSC-CyFair adjunct instructor. With a unique style in mediums ranging from painting and drawing to jewelry making and metalsmithing, his work will be on display March 21 through April 13.

This exhibition focuses on the necessary need to slow down and think silent, said Mossman.

“Typically, I work in a more representational realm, stemming images and ideas from the chaotic and rapid life I witness on a daily basis,” he said. “Here I have chosen a different path to the image - a representation of the process, which is the narrative ….  I relate the process to stepping back from the journey of urban life, and continuing down the path into the unknown forest.”

Stop by the March 23 artist reception between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to meet Mosman and learn more about patience, calming the mind and not worrying where or how fast the path leads him.

The Bosque Gallery is located in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress.
