LSC-Tomball to Host Its Annual College Fair in October

TOMBALL, TX – LSC-Tomball will host its annual College Fair Thursday, Oct. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Beckendorf Conference Center located on the main LSC-Tomball campus.

High school students, parents, and currently enrolled college students who are interested in transfer opportunities are invited to attend to learn more about various four-year higher learning institutions in order to make informed decisions when selecting a college or university. Hosted by LSC-Tomball’s Advising and Counseling department and sponsored by the Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (TACRAO), the event is free to the public.

The event provides an opportunity for college and university representatives to discuss issues of interest including admissions requirements, programs offered, career path opportunities and other crucial information.

“Selecting a college or university can be a challenge for both parents and students,” Ann Johnson, vice president of LSC-Tomball’s Student Success, said, before adding, “With so many options available, one must invest a lot of time and money to visit campuses, conduct research, and complete applications. We are eager to connect area residents with college and university representatives so that they may more quickly and efficiently make the decisions that are best suited for the student.”

Students interested in attending may find more information and pre-register at LoneStar.edu/TomballCollegeFair.
