Lone Star College-SBDC, SBA team up to assist businesses impacted by Hurricane Harvey

Many small business were impacted by Hurricane Harvey and are now struggling to get back on their feet. The Lone Star College-Small Business Development Center and the Small Business Administration Houston District Office are teaming up to help these businesses recover.

“There are a variety of programs and services available to small-business owners,” said Miguel Lopez, LSC-SBDC executive director. “Understanding what they are and how to access them is the first step toward getting assistance.”

The workshop takes place Thursday, Nov. 9, from 1 – 3 p.m. at the LSC-Tomball Community Library. Click here to register.

“This event is for businesses who are just getting started or an existing business ready to expand,” said Lopez. “The workshop will discuss how SBA loan programs work and how resource partners, SBDC, Women’s Business Centers and SCORE can also help.”
