Lone Star College-North Harris is a great place to start, or for those looking to start over. Registration for the spring semester begins November 15.

Early registration ensures the best selection of classes and times as many classes are in high-demand and fill quickly. Advisors are available to assist new students with the registration process.

New courses. New options. LSC-North Harris recently opened its doors to the new Construction and Skilled Trades Technology Center. With post-Harvey rebuilding occurring throughout the greater Houston area, never was there a better time to open such a facility.

This 49,000 square foot, state-of the art facility includes six classrooms, dedicated training labs for electrical technology, field services technology, HVAC-R and pipefitting as well as administrative and instructor offices and a conference center. Students pursuing coursework in these areas can earn first or second-level certificates or an Associate of Applied Science degree.

In order to help students prepare for registration, the college will hold a Registration Bash Nov. 15 and 16 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Student Services Building Commons. Academic Advisors will be available at the event to help guide students through the registration process. For more information, contact Brenda Duran at Brenda.S.Duran@LonesStar.edu.
