LSC-CyFair Helps Students Apply for Texas Aid this Spring

Lone Star College-CyFair’s Financial Aid Office offers assistance completing 2018-19 Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) applications this spring.

These workshops provide students and their families the opportunity to meet with financial aid professionals who will help them apply for TASFA, the form students fill out to learn if they are eligible for state financial aid

Attendees should bring 2016 federal income tax information for themselves, spouses and parents (i.e., W2s, tax return, etc.); Social Security information (if available); and other records of money earned (bank statements, records of investments or untaxed income as applicable.)

Workshops will be held Wednesdays, Feb. 21 and Feb. 28, from 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. in LSC-CyFair’s Financial Aid Office in the Center for Academic and Student Affairs (CASA), room 105, located at 9191 Barker Cypress.

Additional workshops will be held Saturdays, Feb. 24 and March 10, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Technology Building (TECH) room 103 and prizes will be given.

Workshops will also be held Friday, Feb. 16, from noon – 4:30 p.m. in room 111 at LSC-Fairbanks Center, located at 14955 Northwest Freeway and Mondays, Feb. 19 and Feb. 26, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. in room 112 at LSC-Cypress Center, located at 19710 Clay Road.
