International Education Conference Presents: Globalization in Higher Education

Join Lone Star College students, employees, and community leaders during the 15th annual International Education Conference featuring Globalization in Higher Education.

“This dynamic display of student work, art and culture will truly amaze and inspire,” said Dr. Katharine Caruso, LSC associate vice chancellor, Honors and International Programs. “Our students will showcase impressive undergraduate research, international capstone projects, as well as advanced educational resources and tools. Lone Star College is truly a leader in the future of higher education.”

Special guests Dr. Uzma Quraishi and Alex Triantaphyllis will share stories and insight on how politics and culture are shaping the future of education, in an ever-expanding, worldwide landscape. The event showcases student research, global education initiatives, vendors, and speakers on a multitude of topics.

This year’s conference focuses specifically on immigration and cultural transformation and bringing the world to our students. The event will be held April 20 at 5000 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands, Texas. Visit LoneStar.edu/IEC to register and learn more.

Registration is open to any faculty, student, staff, administrator or community member, and includes a light breakfast, exhibitors, student poster sessions, two tracks with presentations, two keynote addresses, lunch by Peli Peli, a musical performance, and dessert and roundtable discussions.
