Bosque Gallery's New Season Features Staff and Student Talent

Cosmos - by Thomas AustinCome see the creativity and talent of area artists featured this fall at Lone Star College-CyFair’s Bosque Gallery.

The art gallery exhibition schedule opens with Thomas Austin’s abstract collection “Embryonic Journey” on display Sept. 6 - Oct. 4. After a 45-year career in the corporate world, Austin picked up his first paint brush in an LSC-CyFair class. Using acrylic paint, this new artist’s abstracts communicate emotions, movement and depth.

Next on the schedule is the work of Natalie Stovall with “Chance Sightings and Odd Encounters” on display Oct. 11 – Nov. 8. Raised in Houston, this LSC-CyFair adjunct art professor became a full-time artist in 1999. Her drawings and paintings reflect her thoughts and feelings about life as well as explore transitions in life.

Learn more about Austin and Stovall at the artists talks held at the opening receptions or at the Tea+Art+Talks set Sept. 18 and Oct. 23 with the artists, respectively.
