Mini-Mesters begin at Lone Star College-North Harris

HOUSTON (May 7, 2019) - It’s not too late to join in! Lone Star College-North Harris Mini-Mesters are open for registration. Classes begin on Monday, May 13 and end on Sunday, June 2.

Mini-Mesters are 'miniature semesters,' that take place after the spring semester in May. Depending on the class, mini-mesters can be three-week or four-week long programs. Classes are offered online and in person, with a variety of subjects and start dates.

“Mini-mesters are an excellent opportunity for students to get a jump start on the future,” said
Dr. Derrick Manns, vice president of enrollment management. “These classes are open to new and returning students and even great for students home for the summer.”

Mini-Mesters have many benefits, including saving money and the ability to accelerate graduation. Mini-mester classes also keep up the momentum set by students during the previous semester and are a chance to take advantage of time off.
