It’s Not Too Late to Start Class

It’s not too late to find your place at Lone Star College-North Harris, and the new Lone Star College-East Aldine Center, with “Late Start.” Late Start provides options to complete a full semester program in a shortened period.

Lone Star College-North Harris, and Lone Star College-East Aldine Center, offer numerous Late Start options ranging from 4-week to 15-week long programs.

Late Start options offer a wide variety of subjects, courses, and start dates. Classes open for enrollment under the Late Start option go well beyond the basics.  Thanks to an experienced faculty, LSC-North Harris can offer Late Start classes in the following subjects: Art, Computers, Chemistry, Economics, Ethics, ESOL, Government, History, Mathematics, Music, Nutrition, Public Speaking, Philosophy, Psychology, Reading, Sociology, Spanish, Writing, and more.

Late Start classes begin throughout the semester, offering a convenient alternative for students who need flexible scheduling to pursue their education. Classes are offered in person, online, and in hybrid formats for added convenience, and students can take classes during the day, at night, and on the weekends.

Late Start classes offer sessions beginning as follows:

  • 14-week Late Start classes start Sept. 9
  • 12-week Late Start classes start Sept. 23
  • 8-week Late Start classes start Oct. 21 and Oct. 25
  • 5-week Late Start classes start Sept. 30 and Nov. 1
