“As more and more people consider Houston their home, factors such as job opportunities and quality of life remain important priorities, especially to students seeking workforce and academic degrees,” said Ellen Junious, LSC-CyFair business professor and series coordinator.

Mark Mitchell, the president of Lake Houston Economic Development Partnership, is a highly respected economic development professional with more than 20 years of experience and numerous state and local awards recognizing his work.

Attendees will discover the impact of business expansion, innovative solutions, and the plans for future economic growth in Mitchell’s Economic Development: Job Opportunities and Increased Quality of Life” presentation.

Light refreshments will be served at this event held from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Center at 9191 Barker Cypress; however, space is limited.
