North Harris College in collaboration with more than 30 area community service agencies has opened its Annual Social Services and Community Connections Fair to area residents, college employees and students.
The Counseling Center and the Office of Service Learning (OSL) are making it easy to obtain information from all of these agencies by putting them in one place on one day on Thursday Mar. 1., 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. located on the campus’ main courtyard. Anyone in need of any of these types of resources is encouraged to attend this free event.
Participating organizations include: Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse; Aldine Health Center; American Cancer Society; American Red Cross; Angel Food Ministries; Bo’s Place; CIRES; The Community Clinic; Community Family Centers; Covenant House; Cypress Creek Hospital; Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services; Fairway Home; Family Services; Harris County Housing Authority; Houston Volunteers Lawyers Program; Humble Area Assistance Ministries; Montgomery County Housing Authority; Montgomery County Youth Services; Montrose Counseling Center; Odyssey Health Care; Planned Parenthood; Salvation Army; Spring Creek Medical Clinic; Texas Department of Human Services; Women Who Look Ahead; Work Source; and more.
