What is Heart Fest?
American Heart Association Heart Walk and Heart Fest will start and end at Lone Star College-Kingwood. The 3-mile walk helps raise money, awareness and education about heart disease and stroke. (Warm-up begins at 8 am with a 9 am start.)
After the walk is over the fun really begins! Live music, heart-healthy food, giveaways and interactive attractions are just a part of this community festival. All activities at this fun-filled, family oriented day are free with emphasis on heart and health. For more information contact John Turner at 281.312.1795.
Heart Fest is a community wide event hosted by Lone Star College-Kingwood immediately following the American Heart Association Heart Walk on November 14, 2009; all activities are free and open to the public.
