Published on: April 11, 2014Lone Star College Kingwood’s Dance Department will hold their Spring Faculty Dance Concert Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center’s Mainstage. The campus is located at 20000 Kingwood Drive.
The LSC-Kingwood Dance Department’s motto: “Where Dancers Become Artists” is dedicated to giving students the opportunity to develop professional skills in and through the art of dance. With an emphasis in performance and choreography, the focus begins in the studio with a strong background in dance technique and concludes with an end-of-semester concert choreographed by residing dance faculty along with special guest artists.
The Spring Concert includes over eight works including solos and small-to-large group works of various styles and topics. Guest artists from LSC-North Harris, LSC-Montgomery and Lamar University will be in attendance along with a one-of-a-kind work set by Golden Wright of Lamar University.
