Think you missed your chance to start college this fall? Think again.
Although the traditional fall semester at Lone Star College-Kingwood and Lone Star College-Atascocita Center was impacted by Hurricane Harvey, the colleges will offer six-week courses beginning Nov. 6. A limited number of classes will be offered in-person and the rest are offered either in a hybrid format or online.
Courses are designed to fit a wide-range of academic goals toward certificates, associate’s degrees or university transfer. Classes offered are accounting, communication, computer, drama, economics, English, government, history, humanities, math, philosophy, psychology, sociology, and speech.
To assure the best selection, students are encouraged to register as early as possible. Students must enroll and pay before the first class meets. For more information or to register for the six week classes, visit www.lonestar.edu/registration.
