LSC-Tomball’s office of Continuing Education is currently offering the Aurora Project. Made available through a grant funded by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the Aurora Project is a free intensive college readiness program for recent GED graduates and adults over the age of eighteen re-embarking upon their education. There is no cost to the participants and potential incentives upon successful completion of the program are offered. In addition, financial incentives will be available upon completion of the program.The program concentrates on the areas of Reading/Writing, Math, and Student Success Strategies in order to prepare participants for the rigorous demands of college life.
