Adult Basic Education/GED Preparatory Classes

The Adult Basic Education/General Educational Development (GED) classes offered through the LSC-CE Adult Education Program offers adults the opportunity to complete their high school education, improve basic education skills, and enhance their employment situation. The courses prepare students to pass the GED Test in the areas of writing, social studies, science, reading and mathematics. these classes also emphasize reading comprehension and test taking skills. Counseling services are located in the Student Services area of the Lone Star College-Greenspoint Center. Counseling is committed to increasing student persistence, productivity and potential. Financial Aid
Financial aid advisors are now taking applications for the 2009-2010 academic year. The priority deadline is April 1 so please submit all materials as quickly as you can. Financial (monetary) assistance is available in the form of:

 Grant  Money you don't have to pay back.
 Loan  Borrowed money you do have to pay back with interest.
 Work Study  Allows you to earn money to help with school expenses.
