LSC-CyFair OTS

Technology is one of the biggest components in fulfilling the College's vision. The Lone Star College-CyFair Barker Cypress campus includes 82 classrooms, 20 PC computers labs, and 2 Mac labs. All classrooms and computer labs are equipped with a data projector, VCR/DVD and instructor computer, state of the art cable TV system, Interactive Television classroom and studio, and IP phone network. With over 1425 Dell desktops on campus, 347 Dell wireless laptops, 15 wireless carts with 15 laptops in each cart, 120 HP 4200 printers, 15 HP Color LaserJet 4600n printers, 30 servers, a 10 gigabit fiber ring, and aCisco wireless network with integrated security for a completely wireless campus, Lone Star College-CyFair is truly a 21st century technology learning environment.

Technology Services includes the Service Desk and technicians who handle software installations, PC/Laptop installations and repairs, classroom A/V needs, technology work requests, network access, network security, telephone/fax machines, printers, and campus TV controls. We offer instruction and assistance for equipment, and also handle media requests for meetings and events.
