The Lone Star College-Kingwood dental hygiene program offers small class sizes, individualized learning experiences with eight hundred hours of clinical practice. The mission for the Lone Star College-Kingwood program is to produce competent graduates whose technical skills, knowledge and interpersonal communication skills make them an asset to any employer and the community. The faculty have clinical experience in general dentistry and periodontal practices; as well as, years of teaching experience. The program's faculty have been with Lone Star College-Kingwood for many years and provide a positive learning environment focused on student success. The facility grants access to state-of-the-art equipment: digital radiography, office management software, and piezo and ultrasonic technology are just a few to mention. This program has a 100% pass rate on both national and clinical boards.
