Lone Star College-Kingwood is ready to assist the community with their educational needs.
Fall registration begins Thursday, April 4 and courses are available at the main campus and LSC-Atascocita Center. The classes are designed to fit a wide range of academic goals toward certificates, associate’s degrees, or university transfer. They are taught in face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
“We renovated six of our buildings, which resulted in more classrooms, extra gathering and study spaces for students, and state-of-the-art equipment and technology,” said Dr. Katherine Persson, LSC-Kingwood president. “We invite you to tour our rejuvenated campus, speak with our advisors to either start or continue your educational journey.”
Classes offered at the main campus include accounting, anthropology, arts, biology, business computer apps, business management, ceramics, chemistry, cosmetology, criminal justice, dance, dental hygiene, design (2-D), drama, drawing, economics, EDUC 1300, English, environmental science, ESOL, fire science, game design, geography, geology, government, history, humanities, introduction to computers, IT, Japanese, marketing, math, music, nursing (LVN and ADN), occupational therapy assistant, philosophy, physical education, professional office and technology, psychology, respiratory care, sociology, Spanish and speech. Available programs at LSC-Atascocita Center are accounting, arts, biology, drama, economics, EDUC 1300 and English.
