Current and potential students can register for summer 2018 classes at Lone Star College-Kingwood, LSC-Atascocita Center, LSC-Process Technology Center, and the East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID) starting March 5.
May mini-term begins May 14. Summer I starts June 4 and Summer II starts July 12. The registration period will continue through the first day of class. Courses are designed to fit a wide-range of academic goals toward certificates, associate’s degrees, or university transfer.
May mini-term courses (only available at LSC-Kingwood)
Online classes offered are biology, government, history, math, philosophy, and speech. Government is available on campus and dental hygiene is offered in a hybrid format.
LSC-Kingwood summer semester
In-person classes offered are EDUC 1300, education, English, ESOL, geography, government, history, introduction to computers, math, music, psychology, TV production, sociology, and speech. Online classes available include accounting, arts, biology, business computer, business management, communications, computer virtualization, criminal justice, dance, drama, economics, EDUC 1300, English, gaming, geology, government, history, human relations, humanities, introduction to computers, math, medical terminology, music, nursing, physical fitness and wellness, philosophy, physiology, psychology, pharmacology, production management, radio/TV broadcast, sociology, Spanish, and speech. Hybrid courses offered are digital imaging, digital media and TV field production.
LSC-Atascocita Center summer semester
In-person classes offered include accounting, art, biology, ceramics, chemistry, drawing, economics, EDUC 1300, English, government, history, humanities, math, occupational therapy assistant (OTA), philosophy, psychology, and speech. Online courses available are art, EDUC 1300, English, government, history, physical fitness and wellness, and psychology. Hybrid classes offered are biology, EDUC 1300, engineering, math, and speech.
LSC-Process Technology Center summer semester
In-person courses available include applied physics, biology, chemistry, energy, geology, physics, process technology (quality and safety), and respiratory care. Online classes offered are process technology (quality, refining methods, and safety). Hybrid courses available are biology, process technology (operations, system, and troubleshooting), and respiratory care.
East Montgomery County Improvement District summer semester
In-person classes offered are math and psychology. Math is also available in a hybrid format.
