College and Community

What does LSC-Tomball have to offer?

LSC-Tomball prides itself on being able to offer something for everyone in the community, whether you are a mother looking for activities for her children, or whether you are interested in fine arts or health and fitness, LSC-Tomball provides high quality enrichment and amentities right at your doorstep.

The Wellness Center, open to members of the community for a nominal fee, offers cardio and weight rooms, as well as courts for badminton, basketball, and volleyball. The Wellness Center also offers the district’s only indoor jogging track in addition to the district’s only indoor rock climbing wall.

A partnership between the Lone Star College System
and the Harris County Public Library created a unique library that serves both the public and the academic community. Users have access to more than three million books and digital items through the shared library catalog. Also available are free computer classes, ESL discussion groups, job search seminars, and library staff to provide assistance.

LSC-Tomball offers a variety of fine arts programming from theater productions to music and art. Community members are welcome to attend the several drama performances we produce each year as well as the many choir concerts that take place. The art gallery, located near the Beckendorf Conference Center, affords visitors the opportunity to view the work of LSC-Tomball faculty, students, as well as visiting artists.

Business and Leadership

LSC hosts summer camp programs just for kids ages 6-18 that are educational and fun! There are no educational prerequisites. Week-long camps start at $89.

Vet Tech Fun Run

The Annual Scarlett Scamper K-9 Fun Run & Costume Contest, held each October, welcomes dog owners from the community and their canine friends to this “pooch fest.” In addition to the one-mile race, prizes are awarded for a costume contest.

Make LSC part of your story.
