LSC-Tomball is excited to offer masterclass opportunities for students and community during the 2018-19 academic year. These events enable performers to present to their current level of expertise and receive immediate feedback – constructive, positive, and encouraging. Masterclasses are typically conducted as a public event so that all who attend can benefit from the teaching. You are cordially invited to be a part of this unique venue for instruction!

Masterclass with Kaitlin Hopkins

October 4, 2018 at 4-8 p.m., Performing Arts Center
Area singers are invited to the LSC-Tomball Performing Arts Center to perform a 2-minute selection for Ms. Kaitlin Hopkins in a masterclass format. Each singer will receive feedback and have an opportunity to work with Ms. Hopkins, the founding director of the musical theatre program at Texas State University - ranked in the Top 10 programs in the nation. An award-winning actress, director, and educator she has worked in theatre, film, and television for over 30 years. www.kaitlinhopkins.net. The cost to participate is $99; admission price is $25 for observers. All singers will be screened in advance. This event is open to the public and will benefit scholarships for LSC-Tomball Fine Arts.
