History Graduate Program

History, MA (HIS)
Students accepted into this program will be able to design a highly individualized curriculum and complete their degree through classroom seminars, independent study, and online research and online seminars. Each student's major area of concentration must be in history, but each student may also have a minor field in such other disciplines as political science, sociology, economics, criminal justice, English and education. The history department is especially proud of its programs in modern European history, military history, recent U. S. history, early U. S. history, and women's history.
