Spanish Graduate Program

Spanish, MA (SHSU)
This degree is designed to serve two broad purposes: to enhance the knowledge & qualifications of candidates wishing to teach on any level, but especially on the secondary and junior college levels, or who wish to cultivate practical listening, speaking, reading, writing and research skills that may lead to careers in various professional, e.g., business, criminal justice, education & health professions, areas.  It provides a strong background for candidates proceeding beyond the master's to the Ph.D.  The Spanish graduate curriculum features the cultures of both Spain and Spanish America, as well as their literatures & linguistics.
