Position: Kennel Technician 


We are a busy two Doctor practice that treats dogs & cats.
Employees are eligible after 90 days for discounted pet services, foods, & medications.

Shifts are from 6:45AM-12:00PM (&/or) 12:00PM to 6:00PM
Some flexibility is available for students

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Feed, walk, exercise, and bathe animals as needed in our care.
-Assist Doctors with technical needs including restraint for sample collection, setting up samples, reading samples, & monitoring patients as needed.
- Must Be available on weekends and holidays to tend to boarding animals.
- Administer Medications & Clean up after animals both inside the facility and outside.
- Maintain the clinic as a whole by performing tasks including, but not limited to,
sweeping/mopping floors, wiping counters, taking out trash, cleaning bathrooms.
- Assist other staff with such tasks as helping restrain an animal, helping clients with their pets, etc.
Skills and Abilities:
- Effectively communicate in the English language both in writing and orally.
- Regularly stand for extended periods.
- Frequently walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain confidence around pets.
Experience, Education, and/or Training:
-This is an entry level position and pay is based on experience and job performance
-Applicants MUST be able to pass a Drug Test and Background check
-The Ideal candidate will be a motivated and responsible individual with excellent skills in observation and communication.
