Life for our students

| Classroom & Lab Experiences |
8:00 a.m. to 2:30 or 3:30 p.m. lecture. Time is usually broken up between in-class lecture, varius fun activities, tours of related interest in Houston area, and hands on lab practice |
| Clinical Experiences |
6:30a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Hours in the facility depends on the hospital/clinical schedule. |
| Level one students spend most of the time in the classroom/lab. There is a progression of health science courses, dosage calculations, basic patient care courses and nursing skilled lab experiences. |
Level two has increasingly more clinical time with a focus on medical-surgical nursing, sterile skills, and giving medications to adults -- as well as a course in pediatric nursing. This level is fast paced and exciting. |
Level three puts it all together with more independence for the SVN, management in the long term care facility and emergency nursing. |
