Discovery College: LSC-Kingwood
Discovery College, a summer youth program started more than 26 years ago, offer more than 50 one-week courses for ages 8-17. Our programs are fun and educational, offering children a chance to develop skills and learn new ones in a friendly environment. Knowledgeable instructors, usually certified teachers, will lead classes in a variety of subject areas with curriculum developed to encourage learning in a relaxed and creative atmosphere.
Our goal is to provide an opportunity for students to begin thinking about their future college plans and to provide a quality enrichment program from the arts to academics in a fun, safe environment.
Discovery College 2011 officially begins Monday, June 6 and ends on Thursday, August 4.
- Courses are offered for 8-17 year olds.
- Courses start at $89.
- Morning and afternoon sessions are available.
- Supervised lunch is available for students registering for both morning and afternoon classes occurring in the same week. Students staying for lunch must bring a sack lunch each day.
- All Discovery College participants will receive one (1) camp t-shirt for the summer. Additional t-shirts can be purchased from the Continuing Education Office in Classroom Building A, Room 107.

Students may register for Discovery College courses by:
- Mail: Payment is due at the time of registration and must accompany registration and permission forms
- In person: Register at the Continuing Education Office, Classroom Building A, Room 107
You can register up to the day of the first class (if the session is not full). However, waiting may cause the class to be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. Regular Discovery College 2011 Registration has begun. Camps fill quickly; so registration soon! We only accept paid registrations on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment is limited, so incomplete registrations will not be processed until all information is provided.
