To help students develop their personal communication and leadership styles by providing proven programming and opportunities for growth and development.
Our goal is to empower Lone Star College-CyFair students with the skills and training they need to become effective leaders in all aspects of their lives.
About Our Chapter
LSC CyFair began offering the NSLS program in August 2019. At the close of our first term we inducted 103 members to the Society.
Our new inductees for the Spring 2020 chapter increased to 116 despite the challenges faced with school closings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In Fall 2020, with the help of the National office of NSLS, we will convert to an online program that will allow us to continue to “meet” in a virtual setting. We hope to engage a greater number of students through this new offering.
Student Life is pleased to offer membership in the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) as an opportunity for LSC-CyFair students to enhance their leadership skills. We realize that some students would encounter financial difficulty in paying for membership into the organization. Therefore, we are offering a limited number of scholarships to students with the greatest need. Scholarships will pay for basic membership only, with no add-ons. If you are interested in membership and are committed to completion of the steps in order to be inducted within the semester of your joining, we encourage you to submit this application. Thank you for your interest in the NSLS!
Please note, payment for membership does not ensure induction, students must complete all required steps to be inducted. To be considered, please complete this application.

Erika Guerra, Chapter President
I have earned certifications in Business Operations (2016), Business Administration-Management (2018) and an AAS in Business Administration specializing in Management (2019). I could have never dreamed of earning so many milestones in my life if not for the support of my husband and kids. I am also the 2020 Executive Vice President of SGA. I am a proud member of PTK, Five Star Competitive Edge Award as well as other awards for Lone Star College Cy-Fair. Fun fact, I “collect” all types of indoor and outdoor plants and I enjoy making crochet hats.
A few things about me is that I also hold the President position in SGA and I am currently studying to get an Associate's of Arts degree to then transfer to a four year university and get my Bachelor's degree in English and Communication. Outside of the academic and leadership world, I like to be at home with my son and my bunny and watch as many shows that we can while eating Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream. I also love to cook and bake for my family and friends.
Ron Bellamy III, Chapter Secretary & Media Coordinator
I was a dual-credit senior in the class of 2020 at Cy-Fair High. After my induction as an NSLS member I was able to launch my first company. I attribute that success to the things I learned and the people I networked with in my time with NSLS. At first I had no idea what I was signing up for with NSLS but I thought “what's the worst that can happen?” looking back now I should've been asking “what's the best that can happen?” because the things I've learned and experienced just being a part of the NSLS is far greater than anything I could have imagined.
Noeline Naluyima, SNT & Community Service Coordinator
I am a Ugandan by nationality, currently residing in Houston. I am majoring in nursing and hoping to be a lawyer one day if the almighty God wishes since being a voice to the voiceless and making a difference in other people's lives is what matters to me the most. I just completed my NSLS Advanced Leadership Certification and I can't wait to start my Executive Leadership Certification.
Lindah Sebulime Nanyonga, Society & Social Events Coordinator
I am Ugandan, l moved to the United States 3 years ago. l have only been to Texas. l am currently pursuing an Associates Degree in Science at Lone Star College-CyFair. l love meeting new people and making friends. l love being part of the NSLS Family.
I am a neuroscience major with aspirations to be a surgeon. NSLS has opened a lot of doors for me, sort of like turning over a new leaf. One of the main things it has made me realize is to “believe in yourself.” I have always been an introvert but NSLS helped me come out of my comfort zone and encouraged me to be actively involved in the community. I am also an officer in PTK and Honors College. I like to volunteer in hospitals and hospice in my free time. Accepting my membership is one of the best decisions I have ever made. It paved my way to other achievements. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me!!
Margit Beasley, Advisor
I have served our LSC students in multiple roles since 2017 and with Student Life since 2018. I graduated with a BA in Event Planning from Texas A&M University. I love being the advisor to NSLS as it affords me a hands on opportunity to watch students develop and succeed. When I'm not doing what I love on campus, I love to cook, bake, sew, crochet, train with my dog Beau (he’s very athletic!) and take spontaneous road trips with my husband.
