Lone Star College is ready to welcome you this fall. Whether you are interested in earning academic credits you can use to transfer to a 4-year university, or helping Texas get back to work with essential workforce training, LSC has a program that is right for you.
Registration is now open. Class start dates are available throughout the year and many students qualify for financial assistance which covers educational expenses including tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Online classes, and classes with an online component, will begin Online Only August 24th.
The Face-to-Face component of any Face-to-Face or Hybrid Course will begin September 8th.
For students enrolled in Face-to-Face and Hybrid courses, your instructor will contact you directly to discuss relevant dates and procedures.
LSC will provide 6,000 free laptops to students for the entire fall semester! The LSC Laptop Loaner program is our way to bridge the digital divide and help students succeed. Applications are currently taking place. You must be registered to be eligible.

Students and Instructors will be required to wear a mask when entering an LSC building.
Personal Protection Equipment will be provided to students and employees who require them.
Temperature checks will be conducted at entry points.
A questionnaire must be completed before entry is allowed.
LSC is planning face-to-face classes this fall, but will be ready to move them online if needed.
LSC will offer 4,400 online classes in the 2020 fall semester in 128 different subjects (Most will be offered in traditional online format and many will be offered with weekly face-to-face meetings on our teleconferencing platform).
Online tutoring support is available and enrolled students receive Office 365.

LSC also has mentoring, tutoring and counseling services available to help you succeed.

LSC can get you trained and hired in some of Houston's hottest industries like health care, computer technology, industrial/commercial construction, HVAC-R, process lab technology, transportation and logistics, and energy and manufacturing, all in state-of-the-art workforce centers of excellence.
Attending LSC is an affordable option and financial aid is available to most students including scholarships which are not a loan and do not have to be paid back.
LSC is able to provide emergency financial grants to students to help cover expenses related to disruptions due to the coronavirus such as food, housing, course materials, technology, health care and child care through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES Act).
LSC offers bachelor’s degrees in Nursing, Cybersecurity and Energy, Manufacturing and Trades Management. Students interested in earning one of these degrees can enroll at LSC, study close to home and take advantage of paying the same tuition rates to earn a bachelor’s degree as they would an associate degree.
