Lone Star College now offering VIRTUAL summer camp classes with Discovery College. Over 56 STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Music) courses available. All classes are live with only ten students per class allowing one-on-one virtual interaction. Discovery College at LSC-North Harris provides a safe and fun "college experience," giving students and their families a comfortable introduction to their local Lone Star College campus.

General Information

• Courses are offered for 8-18 year olds. Courses start at $115.
• Several Discovery College programs are STEAM-focused, meaning that they are specifically designed to engage your child in key areas like science, technology, engineering, art and math to promote a true learning experience.
• Lone Star College only hires the most qualified instructors for Discovery College, whether they are one of our incredibly talented college faculty members or one of our community's best K-12 educators.
• Student and parent evaluations are used for every Discovery College session to ensure that Lone Star College is offering the most relevant and exciting programs possible.
• Morning and afternoon sessions are available.
• Supervised lunch is available for students registering for both morning and afternoon classes occurring in the same week. Students staying for lunch must bring a sack lunch each day.
• Volunteers must attend an orientation session and complete the volunteer release form/background check.
