The Departments of Biology and Environmental Sciences offer courses for students interested in learning more about the living world with a wide range of options for both science and non-science majors. The study of biology is founded in the scientific method and teaches students to problem solve and think critically. These higher-level skills are valuable assets to employers and make biology students highly marketable. In addition, the Kinesiology Department offers courses in healthy lifestyles, nutrition, and optimal wellness.
