Lone Star College Foundation received $100,000 to support LSC-Kingwood's new Fire Training Pavilion in honor of Gary Lee Staley, a firefighter who passed away in the line of duty. The dedication ceremony was held Aug. 5 at LSC-Kingwood.
Lone Star College Foundation recently received a $22,500 grant from the Texas Educational Foundation Fund, a component fund of Greater Houston Community Foundation, to support vocational programming and technical training.
Inspired by a passionate discussion with Amlan Datta, an Economics Professor at Lone Star College-Online, philanthropic couple, Satish and Kamlesh Agarwal wished to make a difference.
