Established to award scholarships to students once a year.

One-time contributions for scholarships disbursed within the academic year and in accordance with the donor's wishes.

Donations that include bequests, life insurance, trusts, or annuities, and can maximize the donor's income, capital gains and estate tax savings.

Additionally, there are opportunities to give In-Kind donations such as equipment or supplies, Corporate Matching Gifts, or to become an Event Sponsor or Underwriter.

IRA Contribution

December 31st is the deadline for mandatory required minimum distributions (RMDs) for any retirees that turned 72 last year or any year prior. The charitable distribution is a special provision allowing eligible donors to exclude from taxable income AND count toward RMD. This allows you to give a charitable gift made directly to public charities, including the LSC Foundation, while also satisfying the RMD. For more information please contact: foundation@lonestar.edu
