Raymond oversees the department of Academic Partnerships. He has the pleasure of serving First-Time-In-College students and encourages all of them to pursue their educational goals. Raymond has worked at different campuses within the Lone Star College System for 5 years, and his roles have included student recruitment and academic advising. He obtained his Associateís degree from LSC, Bachelorís in Sociology from U of H, and Masterís from Abilene Christian University.
Veronica Martinez oversees New Student Orientation and College Kick-Off Session at LSC-Houston North. She enjoys interacting with students and making them feel at home whenever they visit our college. She is a wife, a mother of three handsome boys, and her interests include running, volunteering, and DIY projects.
John Mayo is a Recruitment Specialist at LSC-Houston North. He enjoys assisting our Houston North Academy fellows and other First-Time-In-College students with their transition from high school into college. John has only been working for LSC-Houston North for less than a year, but he is eager to learn and to serve our students. In addition, John received his Bachelorís degree in English from U of H. When heís not at work he enjoys reading, painting, and acting.
Daniel is a native Spanish speaker and Recruitment Specialist at LSC-Houston North. He enjoys attending community and high school events for the opportunity to connect with students and help them achieve their academic goals. Daniel is a current LSC student who plans to transfer to University of Houston-Downtown and major in Business. He also owns a choreography business that caters to quinceañeras and hopes to own his own reception hall in the near future.
Kellyís role as a Peer Mentor is to assist students through each of their admissions steps. She values community engagement and plays a part in every aspect of the Academic Partnerships department. She is also a current student at Lone Star College, and she plans to transfer to University of Houston-Downtown for her Bachelorís degree in Psychology. Kelly is a wife, a mother of two boys, and a native Californian. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music and spending time with family.
