We’re excited that you’ve chosen LSC-Houston North as your home for education!  Whether you’re attending an on-campus session (available at: Fairbanks, Fallbrook, Greenspoint, and Victory) or a virtual session, your NSO experience will include resources and information, to help you shine in college!

Remember…all first-time in college students are required to complete New Student Orientation, however you may be exempt from New Student Orientation, if the following apply to you:

Continuing Education students: students interested in non-credit programs

• Current Dual Credit students:  high school students are only required to attend NSO once they are ready to enter college
• Transfer students: students transferring to LSC-Houston North from another high education institute (courses must be completed/passed) or students accepted into another college, but would like to register for 1 semester at LSC-Houston North prior to their Fall semester at the accepted college/university

LSC-Houston North New Student Orientation Sessions

Virtual sessions will be held via WebEx.  You may register for a virtual session by clicking here or through your myLoneStar admissions page (WebEx meeting link/password will be sent to your myLoneStar email account).

In-person sessions will be held at the location indicated below.  Register for an in-person session through your myLoneStar Admissions Page or by emailing HN-NSO@LoneStar.edu.

If you're unable to attend a scheduled orientation, you may request a personalized session by emailing us at: HN-NSO@LoneStar.edu.  We look forward to serving you at LSC-Houston North!

Introducing... Hybrid NSO
A New Flexible Way to Complete New Student Orientation 

What's Hybrid?
Hybrid is a new model that expands access, supports student success, and ensures each and every LSC-Houston North student can complete NSO in a way that fits their needs. It allows students to visit any location and combines a virtual modality with the support of an in-person option. 

Hybrid Option
•    Visit any LSC-Houston North location on a scheduled NSO date
•    Log in virtually with the NSO presenter
•    Complete NSO in a live, interactive setting

In-Person Option
Students who prefer a traditional, fully in-person NSO experience may  continue to attend at the LSC-Houston North Fairbanks location.
