All steps may not apply to each applicant, but It is a great idea to go through the list to ensure that any documents or needs are not overlooked. The application to Lone Star College is offered through ApplyTexas at no cost.
New students are required to submit college readiness scores to demonstrate college readiness in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics.

LSC-Houston North make it easy to send transcripts or General Education Development (GED). Students are responsible for contacting the high school they graduated from to request their transcript.
To register for classes LSC-Houston North must have official transcripts from all colleges or universities you have previously attended. Once received, it may take 2-4 weeks for your transcript to be evaluated for appropriate credit.

LSC-Houston North is dedicated to the success of all First-Time-In-College (FTIC) students. All new students are required to attend New Student Orientation (NSO). NSO is designed to give you the tools you need to be successful both inside and outside the classroom. Participants will also enroll in courses.
