Lone Star College-University Park Announces Class of 2024 Graduation Ceremony

Lone Star College-University Park (LSC-University Park) is proud to announce the upcoming commencement ceremony for the Class of 2024, scheduled for Friday, May 10 at 9 a.m. at The Berry Center, 8877 Barker Cypress Rd, Cypress, TX 77433.

"As we approach the commencement ceremony for the Class of 2024, I am filled with immense pride and anticipation," said Virginia M. Fraire, Ph., D., president of Lone Star College-University Park. "This ceremony marks my first as president since joining in October last year. I look forward to celebrating this significant milestone with our students and their loved ones. Congratulations to all our graduates!"

Over 1400 students are set to graduate, marking the culmination of their hard work and dedication. The ceremony will feature Hall of Fame Powerlifter Tiny Meeker, a Bench Press World Champion and Texas sports legend, as the guest speaker.

Graduates are reminded to complete their RSVP for the ceremony by Wednesday, May 1. Each graduate is eligible to reserve up to eight tickets for guests. Tickets are free and can be reserved by graduates through the LSC-University Park online ticketing system, which opened on April 23.

LSC-University Park offers more than 70 programs of study, including credit and non-credit courses, workforce training, and continuing education classes. Classes can be taken during the day, evenings, and weekends in traditional, online, and hybrid formats.
