Committee Charge

To guide the institutional effectiveness and strategic planning processes for LSC-Tomball.

Meaningful faculty development – The Instructional Deans will conduct annual professional development needs assessments and work with COTE and our IIF initiative to provide intentional custom training to meet those needs.
Creating a culture of We – We want our students to feel nurtured and supported by the entire campus community, knowing we are all fully engaged in their success.
Grants Council 2.0 – To review and enhance the function of the Lone Star College-Tomball Grants Council.
Quantify the Culture – To access and quantify information about institutional cultures and practices related to diversity and inclusion
Community Engagement Initiative – To convene leaders and friends of LSC-Tomball for the purpose of gathering their input, raising awareness, and spreading the word about the great work happening at LSC-Tomball.

May 11 - Dr. Nutt will draft the Five Priorities for 18-19 based on Tomball 2020 Council recommendations and feedback from the college community
May 11–June 8 - Feedback is open to college community regarding the drafted Five Priorities
June 18 - PCAB reviews, edits, and finalizes the Five Priorities for 18-19
August 15 - ACE Workshop with President’s Cabinet and CLC
August 21 - Priorities and Initiatives announced at President's Welcome
September 20 - Optional Departmental Collaboration Session with President’s Cabinet, CLC, Deans, Department Chairs, and other ACE leaders to brainstorm objectives in support of campus initiatives
September 25 - Internal Deadline to close the loop for 17-18 with each division sharing 2-3 major accomplishments with CPAC for video (pictures and video links)
September 30 - 18-19 ACE Guide is available
October 1 - System Hard deadline for closing the loop for 18-19
February 11 - Mid-Year Report Due
April 1 - Call for Priority Recommendations for 19-20
