LSC Alert

Due to the weather and subsequent major flooding in the northern part of the Lone Star College district, the following LSC campuses will be closed through Friday, May 3, 2024: 
  
LSC-Atascocita Center , LSC-Conroe Center, LSC-Creekside Center, LSC-East Aldine Center, LSC-Health Science Building (Tomball), Kingwood Main Campus, LSC-Montgomery Main Campus, LSC-Process Technology Center, LSC-System Office - The Woodlands, LSC-Tomball Main Campus and LSC-University Center - The Woodlands. 
  
All other campuses not listed will be open Friday, May 3, 2024.  If your campus is open, please make a personal decision as to whether it is safe for you to travel. Do not drive through high water and contact your supervisor or professor if you cannot come to your campus.

Dr. Virginia M. Fraire

College President

Dr. Virginia M. Fraire assumed her role as the second president of Lone Star College-University Park on October 1, 2023. With nearly 30 years of experience in higher education, she is a distinguished administrator committed to eliminating educational barriers. Prior to joining Lone Star College-University Park, Dr. Fraire served as vice provost for student success and strategic initiatives at the University of Texas at El Paso and held various leadership roles during a two-decade tenure at Austin Community College.
